
Rally 4 Reading is Matoska IB’s month of literacy activities ending with a Celebration Event on Friday, February 21st. This year’s theme is “Reading Around the World.” Rally 4 Reading is organized by the PTO, with the help of dedicated teachers and staff.​

Record the number of minutes you read every day on the attached Reading Log. Our goal is 1000 hours of reading as a school!

All types of reading count! Read a book with your eyes. Read an audiobook or podcast with your ears. Listen to someone read.

If we meet our school-wide goal of 1000 hours, we will celebrate with a Pajama Day on Friday, February 28th!

BINGO Card

Be a risk taker and try some new ways of reading! Complete a BINGO on your card and submit it for a chance to win a prize.

Writer’s Workshop

Write a story, article, or poem to contribute to the Writer’s Workshop (student writing displayed at the Celebration Event)

Return your Reading Log/BINGO Card/Writing to your teacher by Thursday, February 20th
