HONK JR REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Calling all dancers, singers, and entertainers! Auditions for Matoska’s Spring musical, Honk Jr., are right around the corner. Produced by Lakeshore Players Theatre, this story is a modern retelling of The Ugly Duckling with spectacular musical numbers and hilarious characters!
Open for grades K-5. Click on the link below for more information and to register for your place in the cast! The first registration wave is open NOW! The second wave opens on December 7th!
Families will be sent a confirmation email after they pay that will ask them to complete the registration form and outline our refund policy. The registration form MUST be completed to hold your spot. We plan to abide by a strict refund policy to ensure that any students on our waitlist will be given a fair chance at registration.
IB INQUIRERS
Thanks to a grant, written by Ms. Maple, from the MN Agriculture in the Classroom organization, Matoska has a beautiful hydroponic grow table.

This fall, outside the main office and with great support from parent volunteer, Katie Aliota, student gardeners had the opportunity to plant, care for, and harvest buttercrunch lettuce and bright lights swiss chard.

The efforts paid off on Friday, December 2nd, as students and staff enjoyed a fresh salad made from our produce. A special thanks to Meghan Nadeau and our fantastic kitchen staff for helping to make this happen.

We’ll get “growing” again soon!
PRINCIPAL LEININGER RECIEVES MNIB AWARD

Congratulations Principal Leininger!
Last month, during a staff meeting, Principal Leininger was surprised to learn he received an award from the Minnesota Association of IB Schools. He was selected as the recipient of the 2022 MNIB Leadership Award. See the fun and emotional surprise in a video issue of "The Week in 62.4 Seconds".
